Founded in Vendée in 1932 by Louise and Georges Sabourin, Laiterie de Montaigu is a family business passed down from generation to generation. It is recognized well beyond its borders for its know-how and its high-quality products.

Laiterie de Montaigu constantly innovates and improves its products in order to adapt them to the needs of its customers thanks to an organization in collaborative project mode.
Our Research and Development laboratory formulates and develops product ranges according to the most specific requirements. In order to cultivate our expertise, we collaborate upstream with international research centers.
QUALITY CULTURE
Laiterie de Montaigu establishes an extremely rigorous quality approach in the control of its manufacturing processes. It is based on the FSSC 22000 standard (Food safety control). Our teams have a strong Quality Culture.
Our organization is based on a preventive approach to risk analysis with a dynamic of continuous improvement. From the arrival of raw materials to shipment, our integrated laboratory analyzes and controls all finished products.

The Grand National is the competition circuit of the French Equestrian Federation, it is run in the three Olympic disciplines and trains men and horses towards the highest level.
Laiterie de Montaigu is proud to support this circuit and the champions of tomorrow.
World Football Montaigu
For nearly 50 years, we have supported this internationally renowned sporting event, a showcase for the sport of tomorrow. This gathering of women's and men's teams from the four corners of the world allows a qualitative influence for our beautiful region of Vendée.
The purpose of the foundation is to promote research into new treatments based on gene therapy for rare diseases. It provides a flexible and immediate means of funding researchers who can be “captured” effectively in an extremely competitive international context.
